As we approach graduation at the end of Spring, we are actively seeking people interested in filling our roles for next year. We will hold an election with all the club members to vote on each position, so come prepared to tell us what Printmaking means to you! we love Print Club forever <3

Join us for a printing session together, come get your hands inky, and come ready to print!

Prof DL will be joining us to help demo mokulito, which is an experimental process of combining lithography and relief, and the results are unlike any other!

This year, steamroller will be bigger and better than ever! (More details to come soon)

This will be another opportunity for us to screenprint our club shirts to be able to wear to Steamroller and REPRESENT!

This meeting will be for us to carve together in the studio come up with ideas on how we can make one big collaborative piece. **at 1pm Tamarind Institute with me hosting an online litho demo** ( https://tamarind.unm.edu/events/dont-get-burned-etching-tusche-washes-with-tamarind-student-printers/ )

As we prep for our Steamroller event on Friday, April 21st, we are introducing a carving collaboration piece for all club members and officers to partake in! We will assign blocks during this meeting so make sure to claim a spot, so we can get a head count.

Papermaking is back and better than ever! Shumate will help us host yet another papermaking workshop with new and improved blenders but come prepped with recycled paper!

Based on the logo competition, we will vote on which deisgn and/or illustration works best, and we will demo how to expose silkscreens to make our own merch - YAY!

We are in need of a new logo for our @scadprintmakers insta profile, SO we thought it would a great opportunity to have our very own members illustrate or design said logo (and the crowd goes wild!) Get creative, and show us what print means to you :))

Our annual juried Alexander Ink Exhibition that features work across disciplines by students and alumni from both SAV and ATL! Awards will be announced at 6pm on opening night. All work will be shown in Alexander Hall's lobby gallery space until January 13, 2023.

We will walk through two bookbinding processes called kettle stitch and perfect bound! We will providing materials in order to bind like paper, sewing needles and PVA glue. However, we ask that you bring your own x-acto blades, rulers, pens, and pencils!

Xavier and Mary Riley will lead us in a plexi-glass etching workshop with Halloween themed designs, laser cut at our DigiLabs! We will be demonstrating how to ink up, polish plates with tarlatans, and print using the etching press. However, we request that you bring your own paper to print on.

Materials to bring: dried flowers, an apron, recycled paper, and more paper!
